Your Child In Pictures – 31 Days of Great Books – Book 11
I have just spent two days in a gorgeous house on the Outer Banks of North Carolina with 50 other women, working on my photography skills. It’s been an incredible experience and it seems only fitting to have a book for today that shares some of that with you. Not all great books have to be fiction or story based.
One of the teachers and attendees is a photographer that I’ve greatly admired since I first met her back in 2008. (I’ve written about her before.
) MeRa Koh has taught me more about photography than anyone I’ve ever met. Not only that, she always manages to inspire me to want
to take better photos. I aspire to one day take shots that cause half as much emotion as the ones she shares.
This past week Me Ra Koh’s second book just came out and I can’t recommend it enough. If you have kids you want this book. It’ll give you wonderful ideas for what photos to take that will perfectly capture not just your kid’s posed smile, but everything you truly want to remember of their childhoods.
|C is a wistful child. This photo captures her personality better than a million posed smiles.
