Oh my poor aching back…

There was a time in my life when I could stay up late chatting with girl friends without feeling it in the morning.

There was a time in my life when I could stoop, bend over, stand, lean down, over and over again without having to groan or clutch my back in agony every five minutes.

There was a time in my life when a little heat didn’t bother me in the least.

Apparently that ship has sailed, and sunk to the bottom of the sea. Because after an evening of packing up swag with other Silicon Valley Moms Bloggers all I can say is ouch, my poor aching back. And urg, is it bedtime yet?

Oh and also… SQUEEEBlogHer is in two weeks. I really can’t wait. It’s going to be a blast. I waited two years to be a part of the party, and I’m thrilled it’s finally my turn. Hanging out with other bloggers tonight was the perfect teaser. Though I can safely say that after an evening home with a screaming 11 month old who point blank refused to go to sleep even though she was beyond exhausted and a 3 year old who keeps having nightmares, M is definitely not looking forward to the BlogHer weekend.
