There are a million support groups out there, but are there any for the things I really need help with?
Support group for over users of exclamation points
Seriously! I can’t write anything without at least one exclamation point. I’ve tried. I’ve failed. Help!
Support group for Nutella over eaters
M felt the need to hide the last pot that he bought. ‘Nuf said.
Support group for self over programmers
Did I really need to pick up a knitting project the same week that I started a writing class, especially considering the fact that I just went back to work?
Support group for chronic laundry ignorers
I wash and I wash… but I just. can’t. bring. myself. to fold. It’s a problem.
Support group for apathy in the face of extreme clutter
There’s the laundry, and the toys, and the clean dishes that languish on the drying rack, and the shoes, oh God, the shoes, and the magazines, and the mail, junk and otherwise, and the books, books everywhere…
Support group for people who know they should go to bed, but just. can’t. put. down. the. computer.
It’s 10:20. I have a four month old child who will be up at least twice before morning. I have to go to work. Why am I still up?
Support group for bloggers who can’t let go of passe stylisms.
Like. This. You. Know?
And last, but definitely not least, a Support group for ice cream eaters
For a week we had no heat. It was under 50F in the house for days. But did I stop eating my nightly bowl of ice cream? Nooooo…. In fact one night I even made myself a hot tea chaser so I wouldn’t freeze to death.
How about you? Any support groups you could use?
