7:30 a.m – Breakfast in front of Yo Gabba Gabba. Frosted Mini Wheats and milk, – 6 pts*
9:30 a.m. – Get to work and turn on computer after harrowing commute. Coffee with milk – 1 pt
11 a.m. – Done checking blogs and answering e-mails. Granola bar – 2 pts
12:30 p.m. – Time for lunch! Chicken breast, salad, yogurt – 7 pts
2 p.m. – All this working hard is making me peckish. 100 cal snack pack – 2 pts
3:30 p.m. – I need another snack. 2 clementines – 1 pt
3:45 p.m. – OK. That so didn’t cut it. 100 cal snack pack- 2 pts
3:47 p.m. – Maybe this will quiet my hunger. Bite of a banana nut bread. Ew. Not counting the points.
5:00 p.m. – In the car going to get the girls. Darn, no more snacks. Gum to ward off hunger – 0 pts
5:30 p.m. – Discuss with husband merits of steak vs pizza for dinner. Feel good that there are enough points left over to eat a good steak dinner. Feel bad about blowing them on a few slices of pizza. What about ice cream? Need points for ice cream. Hmm. Ice cream.
6:00 p.m. – Make C dinner and eye the brand new container of Nutella. Points? Who cares about the points? I do. Turn away and push Nutella from mind. Nutella nags, and calls.
6:01 p.m. – Rummage in cutlery drawer for a spoon. Any spoon.
6:02 p.m. – Grab Nutella. Pull off crinkly gold foil protective wrapper. Dive in. Eat spoonful after spoonful of Nutella. Yummy yummy Nutella. Bajillion points. Forget points. Nutella good. Nutella making me happy. Nice Nutella.
6:03 p.m. – Put down spoon long enough to call husband and have him order pizza. Ask him to pick up ice cream on the way home. Hmm. Ice cream.
6:04 p.m. – Vow to get back on track tomorrow. Yeah. Tomorrow. If it’s a better day.
