Pregnancy brain has prompted me to increase my list making habits. I make lists at work, I make lists at home. I make lists of things to do, things to buy, things to not forget. Few weekends or Mondays are survived without a list of things to be accomplished.
A typical weekend list includes menu planning, grocery shopping, people to contact, gifts to purchase and chores that imperatively need to be done around the house. The lists I make are no nonsense, nothing extraneous, until M gets a hold of it.
“Kisses for M“
“More kisses for M“
“Hugs for M“
M adds many such entries to my to do lists, and he makes sure to cross them off when we finish each one. We kiss often, we definitely don’t need lists to make sure that we remember to do so, but there is something about seeing it written down. My to do lists don’t feel complete until M adds his two cents, and my day doesn’t feel complete until we accomplish them.
