The power of a hug

standard October 9, 2006 Leave a response

A friend shared the following video with me this morning, and I, in turn, want to share it with you.
When I think about it in relation to the post I wrote yesterday I know I should have made an effort to reach out and hug, or at least talk to, the mother that I was observing. Maybe therein lies the paradox of being a writer, how do you observe and stay impartial without becoming cold and unfeeling? (Or at least without apearing to be so?)

Your assignment for the day is to watch the following video and then go out and hug someone. Think of how many times you could have used a hug. There are millions of people out there who feel the same way.
