Today we saw C’s pediatrician for the fourth (fifth?) time since last Monday. She finally pronounced C’s “episode” resolved.
I mean, seriously, when the front desk nurse no longer has to ask you your name or whether your insurance has changed and when your child knows all of the nurses in the office, you know you are spending too much time there.
C has started her preventative treatment and was given a flu shot. The doctor is hoping to avoid another incident in the next six weeks at the very least. She seemed to think that we might end up in the ER if she has another episode. Really puts things in perspective.
In other news, our TiVo seems to be on the fritz. ACKKKK. It keeps freezing up for a second or so and then playing again. It seems to be worse when we are playing shows we have already seen. (Sesame Street for the millionth time, anyone?) I’m having horrible visions of it pooping out on us before we’ve seen everything that’s on it. And even worse visions of not remembering what’s on the Season Pass and forgetting to record something critical if we need to get a new one. Oh the drama!
