I created the image and M helped me figure out how to get it up there. I’m a little proud of myself I have to say!
In other news I now have another TV.
Phew… it was close there. Almost had to spend 24 hours without one.
Don’t really know how I would have survived.
My TV addiction is really only worrisome in that it takes away from my reading time. Bet you thought I was going to say it took me away from my daughter… (but I can stack blocks and watch TV you know. I am a girl, I can multitask!) And the reading thing, well that only becomes apparent on bookclub night… yes yes I know, dorky beyond words… but sometimes I actually like to spend time with people I don’t work with. (And the fact that I go with a friend I met at work, and that half the bookclub ladies are members of the Synagogue where I work, is totally besides the point…) Anyway, bookclub is tomorrow night, I still have a hundred pages or so of Billy Bathgate to get through, and it just isn’t going to happen.
And the sad thing?
It isn’t the first time, by far, that I haven’t finished the book.
Maybe for this next round of books I’ll only recommend books that I’ve already read!
Unless someone can suggest a few good reads that might lead to good discussions.
Check out Donna Tartt’s “The Secret History.” It’s a page turner. Cool blog ;)And my TV obsession is consuming me.
