This is so sweet. My 2 yr old son has been waking up recently too (I think it is the change of season, ticklish cough and dry air). Fortunately, the water and diaper change routine has worked for us too.. I love when they droop right back to sleep. I haven't heard "I love you yet" but I am not sure I could walk out the door if I did. I would be tempted to stay and stare at his beauty while he sleeps.

Isn't so sweet when they learn to say those words? There's nothing better than hearing them in a soft toddler lilt. In fact, I *might* say it a zillion times more to my 3 year old than I used to just because she started saying it back every time. It never gets old.
