Wordless Wednesday - Butterfly Princess

First she was given wings.

Then they painted a butterfly on her cheek.

All in the name of welcoming the butterfly back.

Currently Reading

I received this book for Christmas and online finally had time to read it this weekend. I read it in almost one sitting and shed as many tears as I spouted smiles. I'm a sucker for sad love stories, but I'm even more of a sucker for books that teach me things. This delivered both. Loved it! Highly recommend it!

I'm neck deep in elementary school research, so that might be why this book appealed to me so much, but frankly if you have kids, you're going to love this true, funny, sweet, and touching window into a third grade classroom. Then you're going to Google the teacher to see if you can send your kid to his school. Oh, wait. Maybe that's just me.
