Step in, stay a minute. Sometimes I write about me, sometimes about my family, sometimes about the past, sometimes about the future. Stay a while, I love sharing my story. And please leave a comment! It's no fun if it isn't a conversation.

I'm no expert, I just play one on the The Lemonade Stand. Check out my latest reviews or advice here:
I have read Wally Lamb's first two novels, and while they are definitely not light reads, they were both fabulous. I hate to say this, but I just wasn't a fan of this one. It felt like Lamb was just trying too hard. I'm a bit disappointed. Skip this one and read his first two books.
I'm neck deep in elementary school research, so that might be why this book appealed to me so much, but frankly if you have kids, you're going to love this true, funny, sweet, and touching window into a third grade classroom. Then you're going to Google the teacher to see if you can send your kid to his school. Oh, wait. Maybe that's just me.
Stuck in your life? Your job? This book will take you three hours to read and will change the way you see your life. No joke.

A mom that's not afraid of a mess--you are one great mom!
I'm trying to place her artistic influences. Van Gogh? Jackson Pollock? a little avante guarde for Rembrandt ...
You are right, that is the most adorable pumpkin painter I've ever seen.
Aww... sooo precious.
And what a fabulous job capturing the moment.
